Different situations trigger cravings

Situations that could drive us to smoke again include

  • a stressful day

  • the smell of cigarette smoke

  • hanging out with friends who smoke

  • a night out partying

  • feeling sad, angry or bored

  • routines like a cigarette after specific activities like lunch

    Identifying these scenarios helps us plan how to deal with them beforehand to increase our chances of success after quit day.
