Spend all that free time.. AWAY from alcohol

Once you quit you will have more free time to yourself.

Find a way to relax after a long day.

It can include phoning a friend, reading a newspaper, reading a book, cooking a meal or playing a game.

Go walking.

Take a walk in the area to relax. Say hello to people you know or take time to just empty your mind.

Excercise.

Get yourself into shape slowly.Excercise doesn’t only help you look and feel better but also sleep better.

Watch a movie/TV show.

Keep your eyes and mind distracted.

Play games.

This can be board games, games on your phone or video games.

Help the kids with homework.

Make use of your skills and knowledge.

Socialize with friends who don’t drink.

Engage in fun activities that DON’T involve alcohol.

Participate in sports.

Most locations have a football team you can join. Any exercise is great for your health.
